The Yellow Room

A lovely large room on the third floor room, the Yellow Room extends from the front to the back of the house and has dormers and a large window seat overlooking the Mink Brook.

The romantic sleeping alcove contains a comfortable king-size bed. Lots of pillows let you snuggle in, the all-cotton sheets caresse you, and the down comforter keeps you cozy and warm. There are shelves on either side of the bed to hold reading material, the radio/alarm clock and other night-time essentials. While a wonderful room for two, the twin trundle bed provides extra sleeping making the Yellow Room great for families as well. During the day the trundle bed serves as a comfortable couch and at night the bottom bed pulls out and pops up to normal height adding two twin size beds to the sleeping configuration.

A desk/dressing table provides a good work space for our business guests. There is a TV/VCR and high-speed wireless internet access. With windows on the north and on the south, cross ventilation is excellent for those enjoying fresh air. During the summer we add a window air conditioner, but it is rarely needed.

The private bath has a tub/shower combination, thirsty towels and a fluffy bath mat. The pedestal sink is located in the main bedroom.

A popular room for families, the maximum occupancy in the Yellow Room is four.
