Unique in layout and décor, you'll find window seats, sleeping alcoves, small libraries with interesting reading material and generous desk areas. Our Suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for families. Our Guest Cottage provides a romantic haven behind the main house.
Each of our six bedrooms has ultra-luxurious all-cotton bedding, luxury down pillows and comforters, private baths with big thirsty towels, cable TV with VCR and DVD players, high-speed wireless internet access, clock radios, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, and air conditioning.
Many people open their windows at night to enjoy the fresh New Hampshire air, the sound of the babbling Mink Brook across the street, and the sound of the peepers (tiny frogs) in the spring. During the summer we add room air conditioners, although they’re rarely needed. In the winter you can enjoy a toasty fire in the living room before heading up to your cozy room, most of which have their own heat control.
A sumptuous breakfast is served when you wish, designed to accommodate both early morning meetings and lazy vacations. Breakfast begins with fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins, scones or coffee cake. The menu offers a wide assortment of entrees including popular selections like buttermilk pancakes, tomato/basil/brie omelets, and granola with vanilla yogurt and fresh berries.
Our Business Center provides 24-hour complimentary access to a computer, printer/scanner and fax facilities. High speed wireless internet access extends throughout the house and to the immediately adjacent grounds.
Our sixteen acres include a large swimming pond, meadows, sugar maple grove, and woods. Our basketball half-court invites exercise and cross-country skiing and hiking trails traverse the property and link to the Appalachian Trail. Dartmouth College offers many cultural and sporting events, and the Town of Hanover offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options.
